Lily Fowler is a music composer, arranger and vocalist based in Sydney, Australia, who specialises in the hybrid genre.
Her ever-growing oeuvre includes writing, arranging, and performing Chamber, Orchestral, and Choral music. Lily’s extensive experience with choirs has produced many opportunities, having performed at a variety of magnificent venues such as the Sydney Opera House and the Shanghai Concert Hall. Her achievements include singing with the Australian Girls Choir, Sydney Children’s Choir, the Conservatorium High School Choir and Chorale, and other astute acapella groups.
Lily has been creating and performing music since she was a young child. With multiple instruments and a clarion voice, she refined her studies at the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music. 2024 marks her foray into professional composing after completing her study in a flexible double degree in Visual arts and Music at the Australian National University. Lily delights in striving to refine and explore her compositional voice, through performance and creative expression.
While Lily dedicates most of her time to making music, her inspiration originates from personal interests in video games, Japanese animation, films, and visual arts. Creating a plethora of compositions since 2018, Lily’s repertoire uniquely embraces the combined practices of traditional music theory in various styles, often with a lyrical focus – demonstrating her independent compositional voice in the hope to become a world-class professional video game composer.
